Why two doses of the new crown vaccine

There are currently three types of neo-crown vaccines used in China, including inactivated vaccine, adenovirus vector vaccine, and recombinant neo-crown vaccine. The inactivated vaccine requires 2 doses, the adenovirus vector vaccine requires 1 dose, and the recombinant neo-crown vaccine requires 3 doses. The number of doses of different vaccines is mainly based on the effect of the vaccine after vaccination in clinical trials. Usually, after the first dose of vaccination, the immune system of the body is stimulated to produce relevant antibodies and memory cells, and a second dose at intervals will make the immunization more effective. The inactivated vaccine currently used in large quantities in China has shown in phase I and II clinical trials that a 1x dose divided into 2 doses produces a better preventive effect, so the country recommends 2 doses of vaccination to prevent NCCP. If patients fail to receive the second dose of vaccine as scheduled according to the vaccination schedule, they will not be able to obtain a better immune response, at which time the immunity and durability of the vaccine in the body will be affected and the preventive effect will be greatly reduced. Therefore, for patients who have already received the New Crown vaccine, care should be taken to complete all vaccinations in strict accordance with the dose and time of vaccination, not to change the vaccination schedule at will, and to actively cooperate with the state in establishing a herd immunity barrier to reduce the risk of infection in the population as well as in individuals.
