The patient will also be burdened with heavy psychological pressure, and for a long time it will cause the occurrence of sexual dysfunction such as loss of libido and premature ejaculation. (3) Affecting fertility Anatomy shows that the seminal vesicle gland and the prostate, vas deferens, urethra and bladder are in close proximity to each other and also communicate with each other. Thus, it seems that vesiculitis usually occurs after infection of other organs of the urogenital system. At the same time, the seminal vesicle fluid secreted by the seminal vesicle gland is an important component of seminal fluid. Therefore, seminal vesiculitis is likely to affect fertility. 2. How is seminal vesicle infection treated? Because of the structural characteristics of the seminal vesicles, after the inflammation occurs, the drainage is poor and the bacteria tend to stay after invasion, making it difficult to cure completely. In order to prevent vesiculitis from lingering, both acute and chronic vesiculitis should be treated thoroughly. (1) Western medical treatment Anti-inflammatory treatment: choose the appropriate antibiotics, acute vesiculitis should be treated until the symptoms completely disappear and then continue to use drugs for 1-2 weeks; chronic vesiculitis need to continue to use drugs for more than 4 weeks, in order to consolidate the efficacy. Commonly used are quinolones, erythromycin, sulfonamides, etc. Hemostatic agents: For those with red color of hemorrhagic semen, hemostatic min and hemostatic aromatic acid can be used appropriately. Drugs to reduce congestion and edema of seminal glands: such as ethylene estradiol, 5-alpha reductase inhibitors, etc. Physical therapy: hot water sitz bath, 1-2 times a day, or trans-perineal or rectal ion introduction, microwave therapy. Used to improve local blood flow and help inflammation subside. Spermatoscopy: blood clots and stones in the seminal vesicle gland can be cleaned under direct vision. For chronic seminal vesiculitis, if combined with ejaculatory duct stenosis, resulting in poor drainage of seminal fluid, ejaculatory duct opening can be performed via urethra. Surgical treatment: acute seminal vesiculitis, if there is abscess formation then puncture or incision and drainage is required. (2) Chinese medicine treatment Chinese medicine treatment requires dialectical treatment, although for the disease of vesiculitis, the treatment methods and clinical medication are completely different for different types of evidence. The common types of clinical evidence include damp-heat injection, Yin deficiency and fire, Qi and blood deficiency, and internal stasis of blood, for different types of evidence treatment methods include clearing heat and dampness, cooling blood and stopping bleeding, nourishing Yin and lowering fire, cooling blood and stopping bleeding, tonifying Qi and blood, inducing blood to the spleen, activating blood stasis, cooling blood and stopping bleeding. After years of clinical observation, it was found that the combination of Chinese and Western treatment of seminal vesicle gland is significantly more effective than the treatment with Western medicine alone or the treatment with Chinese medicine alone. 7 Can patients with seminal vesiculitis still have sex? The actual fact is that you can find a lot of people who are not able to get a good deal on a lot of things. (3) Need to sit in the bath and massage if necessary: patients with vesiculitis who have had children can take a 45°C hot water sitz bath 1-2 times a day before bed for 10 minutes each time; or massage the prostate gland under the guidance of a doctor. It is important to note: patients who have not had children should not use this method, so as not to affect fertility. (4) Strengthen exercise, enhance physical fitness, avoid upper respiratory tract infections such as colds, timely treatment of dental caries, prevention of diarrhea, and active treatment of infections in other parts of the body to improve the body’s resistance to disease.
