Colon cancer pain characteristics

The pain characteristics of colon cancer are closely related to the degree of disease progression. As the tumor increases, the patient sometimes will slowly develop hidden pain, and then further development will slowly develop dull pain, which is more continuous. Later on, as the tumor increases, it may affect bowel movement and cause incomplete obstruction or complete intestinal obstruction, so the patient will experience distension and pain, so this pain is closely related to the patient’s degree of progress. Of course, some patients complain of abdominal pain, while such patients may not find gastrointestinal tumor if they undergo colonoscopy, and there may be colitis. Therefore, it is important to be aware and not to equate pain with colon cancer in a hurry. Some subjective symptoms are more severe, but maybe the intestine is not yet in a malignant condition, and some patients often have no symptoms, but do not ignore them. The two cannot be equated between abdominal pain and colon cancer and other aspects of the disease.
