Anti-scar treatment guidelines for scar patients

In general surgery is crucial to the prognosis of the surgical incision, and healing is only followed by systematic anti-scar treatment to obtain better results and a finer, smaller and flatter scar. Here is a basic anti-scar guide for the majority of scar patients, which hopefully can help you. 1.Commonly used oral medication: There are few oral anti-scar medications, cumeclidin tablets are available, which are generally used for more than 3 months. 2.Start to use anti-scar medication 1 week after healing: (1)Choose 1 kind of Conrad, Centurion ointment, wash and dry the operation area, apply a thin layer, 2-3 times / 1 day, massage or hot compress appropriately along the long axis of the scar. (2) Choose 1-2 kinds of Shu-scars, Barker, Mepi-Care or scar enemy, and after applying Conrad and other drugs, apply Shu-scars and other creams during the daytime, apply a thin layer externally, 2-3 times/1 day, do not massage. The patch is available at night: trim according to the length and shape of the scar, with the perimeter exceeding the scar by 1 cm. It can be washed and dried with water after daily use until it is not sticky. If there is no abnormality, anti-scar medication should be applied continuously up to more than 6 months after surgery. If there is any adverse reaction (such as allergy), the drug should be stopped and replaced with other drugs when the trauma is well. 3.Simultaneous use of medical elastic sleeve: Start to apply elastic sleeve after wound healing, and apply it simultaneously with the above drugs: there should be proper pressure, and use it continuously every day except for bathing (including sleeping); it should be persistently applied for more than 6 months time. Some parts are not suitable for wearing elastic sleeve, you can change to 3M tape or skin surface sutures to reduce the tension of incision and reduce the recurrence of scar.
