The rehabilitation of the foot after fracture is as follows: First, start flexion and extension activities of the toe as early as possible while ensuring that the fracture remains stable. Initially, voluntary flexion and extension activities can be carried out in about six weeks, and resistance flexion and extension activities can be carried out using rubber bands for resistance training. Secondly, training of the intrinsic foot muscles is carried out after the fracture is relatively stable with active toe grip training. Completing 500-1000 times a day can restore the strength and intensity of the plantar muscles and ensure the height of the longitudinal arch of the foot, which is conducive to promoting fracture healing and also maintaining the normal arch of the foot. Through the above two kinds of training, it can make the foot fracture in the process of recovery without serious muscle atrophy, and also enable the patient to bear weight and walk normally after the fracture is healed.
