Yin deficiency and lung dryness: the common symptoms are cough without phlegm or little phlegm, or phlegm with a little blood in it, accompanied by irritable heat in the heart, hot flashes and night sweats, redness in the cheekbones, low fever in the afternoon, red tongue, little coating, etc. Generally, we can use Sha Shen Mai Dong Tang plus reduction, or Bai He Gu Jin Oral Liquid or Nourishing Yin Qing Lung Oral Liquid to nourish Yin and moisten dryness and stop coughing for treatment.
