There are eight afflictions in life, and illness is the third one, making it a mandatory part of life. From a doctor’s point of view, psoriasis is like an “invincible” disease. Many treatments can completely control the disease and even restore the skin almost completely, but in most cases psoriasis will come back and cause physical and mental suffering. Despite ongoing scientific developments, it is still not possible to completely eradicate most diseases. Most treatments are like a “double-edged sword”, with one edge suppressing disease attacks and the other breaking its own balance. We are concerned about health, we need to correct bad habits and prevent overdraft, we need to enhance physical fitness by integrating diet, rest and exercise, and at the same time improve psychological resistance quality and maintain a positive and peaceful state of mind. Surviving with disease is inevitable. We’d better take the time to get to know psoriasis and understand ourselves, not to expect too much, to cut slowly with the disease, and to keep a true record of the experience and feelings of the disease, which helps to get out of the shadow of the disease and transform it into the positive energy of having a sense of health.
