Can a blood test for tuberculosis detect it?

Tuberculosis cannot be detected by blood tests. At present, the diagnosis of tuberculosis is mainly made by chest X-ray or CT and sputum examination as the main diagnostic method. If there are suspicious lesions in the lungs, further sputum examination is needed to find antacid bacilli. If the sputum test is positive, the diagnosis is clear. At present, the main blood test is the T-SPOT test, which is a clinical basis to determine whether there is tuberculosis infection.
