Is glans peeling sexually transmitted?

Glans peeling is not necessarily sexually transmitted, only that some of these conditions that cause glans peeling can be transmitted through sexual contact, so it is still important to seek prompt medical attention to identify the cause as early as possible.
In medical terms, glans peeling is a phenomenon in which the local surface layer of cells of the glans is necrotic and falls off due to infection, trauma or other irritation (as well as physical and chemical irritation such as soap and dryness). The causes of glans peeling include excessive circumcision, unclean sex, excessive masturbation, and inappropriate condoms and underwear.
Among the diseases that cause glans peeling, Candida glans and Trichomonas glans can be sexually transmitted and therefore may need to be treated by both spouses.
