How to treat hives?

A few days ago, I saw a patient with urticaria, who had circular, bright red, flat masses all over his body, from the head to the back of the feet, from the back and waist to the abdomen, with itching all over his body, and recurrent attacks for several days. Two days later, the patient came back to the clinic to see the patient’s head, face, limbs, chest and abdomen, and asked about the situation after the last treatment. At the end of the treatment, the erythema had faded significantly, and the patient was instructed not to reintroduce moxibustion and not to use seafood or spicy products. 2 days later, the symptoms had completely disappeared from the chest and abdomen, except for the lower extremities and the wind mass around the eyes. When the patient was seen again, the symptoms had basically disappeared, and he was asked to add two more treatments to consolidate the effect. Urticaria, also known as rubella, is a kind of limited edematous rash with severe itching on the skin or mucous membranes, which appears rapidly and fades on its own. The etiology of urticaria is extremely complex, with a variety of endogenous or exogenous factors causing it, and there are two types of pathogenesis: metabolic and non-metabolic reactions. The pathogenesis of urticaria is mostly a hypersensitivity reaction in immune damage, which is a type I allergic reaction. Some allergic patients can develop urticarial reactions under the stimulation of emotional changes, exercise, heat, cold, sunlight, friction, etc. Stabbing therapy for this disease is fast and effective. For more stubborn cases, it can be combined with Chinese herbal medicine to remove wind and heat, dispel wind and cold, and harmonize Ying and Wei.
