Pediatric inguinal hernia is a common clinical disease and one of the diseases that endanger the growth and development of children, and it is also a headache for parents. Due to the rapid development of modern medicine, the timing of surgical treatment for children has been advancing, and the minimally invasive day treatment currently carried out in our hospital has greatly relieved the pain of children and the worries of parents. Because of the large number of pediatric patients in our hospital, we often encounter parents of children who come a long way for surgery but are temporarily unfit for surgery because of some underlying diseases, resulting in a waste of time and money for the round trip. In response to the above situation, we would like to inform parents of the precautions to be taken before pediatric surgery, in the hope that it will facilitate the scheduling of your visit. Generally, children with the following conditions should not come for surgery: 1. the child has upper respiratory tract infection, combined with cough and runny nose 2. the child has pneumonia, bronchitis 3. the child has diarrhea and other gastrointestinal diseases 4. the child has a history of hernia inversion within 3 days of the surgery 5. the child has congenital heart disease (need to be combined with the clinical situation) In order for you to have a satisfactory visit, it is hereby recommended that before the visit, in consultation in advance.
