Saturated oxygen acupuncture therapy (SOAT) is a sequential and combined treatment method in which patients are given saturated oxygen within half an hour after acupuncture or at the same time as acupuncture treatment, referred to as oxygen acupuncture therapy. Oxygen acupuncture therapy is a new concept and method of combining Chinese and Western medicine with integrated innovation based on my deep understanding and mastery of oxygen therapy, my experience and essence of meridian oxygen therapy, and my clinical experience and insight. This method focuses on the sequential superposition of acupuncture and oxygen therapy. Needles are applied before entering the cabin, and the patient enters the cabin with the sense of needles, or receives acupuncture treatment at the same time as oxygen, so that the hyperbaric oxygen / atmospheric saturation oxygen and acupuncture to adjust the body to form a good synergy of treatment. On the basis of the oxygen therapy effect should be maximized, the meridian adjustment effect of acupuncture is strengthened; and the meridian qi stimulation of acupuncture can promote the full utilization of oxygen by the organism. Oxygen helps needle power, needle promotes oxygen effect, the effect is superimposed, the effect is amplified, 1 + 1 > 2. Saturated oxygen absorption acupuncture therapy is a special acupuncture treatment mode different from ordinary acupuncture. Generally speaking, patients and diseases that are suitable for treatment by ordinary acupuncture and have no contraindication to high-flow oxygen inhalation can consider choosing and accepting saturated oxygen absorption acupuncture. Compared with ordinary acupuncture, the advantages of saturated oxygen inhalation acupuncture therapy for the treatment of diseases closely related to ischemia and hypoxia are more prominent, especially for the treatment of some chronic diseases with pain, numbness, and swelling as prominent symptoms are common and effective. In recent years, we have used this method to solve some difficult symptoms that have been haunting some patients for many years. The project has applied for a national invention patent (State Intellectual Property Office Patent Acceptance Application No. 201410088921.8.) and has been funded by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Health and Family Planning and the Shanghai Office of Chinese Medicine Development to carry out in-depth research.
