Indications for intravenous thrombolytic therapy

Intravenous thrombolysis is mainly for the treatment of acute cerebral infarction, and there is a certain requirement for the age of indication for thrombolysis, which should be above 18 years old. In the past, the age was controlled to be below 75 years old, but now the age of intravenous thrombolysis is appropriately relaxed to more than 80 years old, and intravenous thrombolysis can also be considered if the physical condition is good. The time window for intravenous thrombolysis is relatively strict, and intravenous thrombolysis can be considered within 4.5-6 hours of the onset of the disease. The indications for intravenous thrombolysis must exclude contraindications, such as patients with peptic ulcers or a history of surgery within the last 3 months, and patients with a history of cerebral hemorrhage cannot be treated with intravenous thrombolysis.
