  The earliest written records are found in the Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Internal Medicine: “Stagnation is removed, and bad blood is released”. It is a treatment method of releasing a small amount of blood by needling certain acupuncture points or small veins on the body surface. It is commonly used in clinical practice for heat stroke, headache, sore throat, anorexia in children, acne, etc. If used properly, it can have an immediate effect.  A. Shaoshang point bloodletting for sore throat Operation: Shaoshang point is located at 0.1 inch from the radial nail angle of the thumb. Take the patient’s unilateral Shaoshang point, first along the proximal end of the thumb to Shaoshang point pushed several times, so that the acupuncture point local congestion, routine sterilization with a trigeminal needle or disposable syringe needle rapid puncture, the depth of
1-5 mm, squeeze the bleeding after the needle is released, about 1-2 ml of blood, after the operation, press with a sterilized dry cotton ball for a few moments, once a day.  Indications: cold or acute pharyngitis with sore throat, unfavorable swallowing, red tongue, constipation, etc. The evidence belongs to the real heat sore throat.  Second, the ear tip bloodletting treatment of hypertension Operation: take the unilateral ear tip point of the patient, first massage the ear Guo with fingers to make it congested, after strict sterilization, the left hand fixed ear Guo, the right hand holding a trigeminal needle or disposable syringe needle aligned with the application site quickly stabbed 1 ~ 2mm, then retreat the needle, gently squeeze around the needle hole, so that it bleeds naturally, and then use alcohol cotton ball to absorb blood drops. It is not suitable for pregnant and lactating women, patients with severe primary diseases of the liver, kidney and hematopoietic system, psychiatric patients, and those with physical weakness and bleeding tendency.  Third, puncture the four suture points for the treatment of pediatric anorexia Operation: the four suture points are located on the palmar surface of the second to fifth finger, in the middle of the transverse stripe of the proximal interphalangeal joint. After routine disinfection, use a trigeminal needle to rapidly puncture the large vertebrae point, usually 3 to 5 times, with a medium depth of puncture, and then quickly cupping and bleeding at the large vertebrae point, with a bleeding volume of about 3 to 5 ml, once a week, 4 times for a course of treatment.  Indications: Acne can be seen as facial flushing or greasy facial skin, red acne rash, pustules and nodules, local burning and pain, constipation, increased or aggravated rash after eating spicy food, and the evidence is of the real heat type.
