Breast cysts are a type of breast enlargement, or cystic hyperplasia, and their severity is not judged by their size. Cystic hyperplasia of the breast is a benign lesion of the breast and is usually not serious. Cysts often change with the menstrual cycle and are accompanied by premenstrual breast swelling and pain. Clinical observation and treatment is the main focus, requiring an annual review of breast ultrasound or mammogram, and also under the guidance of a physician to take some drugs that dredge the liver and regulate qi, reduce swelling and disperse nodules. If cytological or histological examination confirms epithelial hyperplasia or papilloma, it usually indicates that the condition is more serious and surgery is recommended in a timely manner. Cystic hyperplasia of the breast is mostly caused by endocrine disorders, it is recommended to avoid staying up late, regular work and rest, early to bed and early to rise; eat a light diet, avoid spicy and stimulating food; avoid too much stress and maintain a positive and optimistic attitude.
