Eye Astigmatism Symptoms

It is often difficult to distinguish between the symptoms of myopia and astigmatism. The causes of astigmatism and myopia are different, and so are their manifestations. To put it simply, myopia is to see near clearly and far blurrily, while astigmatism is to see near and far unclearly, and to see things with double vision, easily occurring visual fatigue, and even crooked head to see things. 1. Blurring and double vision: People with mild astigmatism usually have normal vision, which does not particularly affect their lives, but they may have headaches, eyestrain and blurred vision when looking at objects at a certain distance for a long time. People with severe astigmatism will have blurred and distorted vision. Seeing far and near is not very clear. 2, often like to squint the eyes half closed into slits, as if this can see more clearly. 3.Vision fatigue: Because the eyes need to constantly fine tune the blurred images on the retina, patients with astigmatism, especially those with hyperopic astigmatism, are prone to vision fatigue. 4. Abnormal head and eye position: People with highly asymmetric astigmatism in both eyes often like to see things with crooked heads in order to see more clearly, which can be recovered after astigmatism correction. Astigmatism is mainly manifested as blurred and double vision, easy visual fatigue, squinting eyes, or crooked head vision. If the astigmatism exceeds 75 degrees, it needs to be corrected in time, otherwise the eyes will be constantly adjusted to seek the best focus, resulting in eye fatigue and vision loss.
