What’s wrong with bleeding in pregnancy?

There are quite a number of factors involved in vaginal bleeding during pregnancy.
Pregnancy-related causes, including miscarriage from various causes and the more dangerous ectopic pregnancies, are not known.
Those not related to pregnancy, such as tumours, polyps, inflammation and trauma to the uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries and vagina, cause damage to the capillary tissue, which in turn leads to bleeding.
