Sneezing and watery eyes after running may be an acute allergic reaction if no similar phenomenon has occurred in the past. Allergic reactions may be caused by exposure to allergens, such as pollen, cold air, or smelling special volatile gases during the run. Clinical management can be done with antihistamines, such as loratadine and cetirizine, and anti-allergy drugs such as paracetamol, which are usually very effective. If the patient repeatedly sneezes and tears, it is likely that the patient is suffering from allergic rhinitis. It is recommended that the patient undergoes appropriate examination in the ENT department, including prevention of triggers and identification of allergens, or go to the allergic reactions department to find allergens and then try to avoid contact with these allergens in order to play a preventive role.
