Pediatric posterior laparoscopic adrenal tumor resection

Adrenal tumors in children are not rare, in fact, the adrenal gland is a good site for childhood tumors, especially the extremely malignant neuroblastoma, which is found in the adrenal medulla and has little chance of cure once it metastasizes, so early detection and timely surgery is very important. Early detection is especially important. Ultrasound can detect early adrenal tumors, so it is recommended that infants and children have an ultrasound physical examination within one year of age. Stage 1 neuroblastoma does not require chemotherapy after surgical excision, and the survival rate is almost 100%. Minimally invasive posterior laparoscopic surgery even reduces the surgical trauma to a minimum.
