Minimally invasive treatment of sacral cysts

The treatment of sacral cysts is traditionally treated by surgical excision, which is not only traumatic and costly. Moreover, according to scientific statistics, the satisfaction of patients is low, and a small number of patients have more pain after surgery than before. Therefore, there are now fewer medical institutions that treat drip cysts by traditional surgery. Foreign scholars propose to use percutaneous puncture bioprotein gel injection method to treat sacral duct cyst, which is commonly known as placing the puncture needle into the cyst under the guidance of CT, firstly, the fluid inside the cyst is sucked out by applying a syringe, at which time the cyst collapses, and then bioprotein gel is injected to play the role of sealing the entrance of the cyst and bonding the cyst wall. The patient’s pain is relieved at that time. As the bioprotein gel is absorbed, the cyst gradually shrinks and the cyst wall adheres. The patient receives long-term relief of symptoms. Since this disease is relatively rare and there are even fewer hospitals that perform minimally invasive treatment, we are currently the only hospital in Henan Province that can perform minimally invasive treatment. Due to the low application, there are no medical device companies in China that produce specialized instruments. In order to improve the results and patient satisfaction, the instruments used are professionally designed and processed according to the needs.
