Is it true that people with a flat back of the head have low intelligence?

There is no relationship between flattening of the back of the head and intelligence. Flattening of the back of the head is usually caused by prolonged poor sleeping posture. However, if a child has a flat skull with abnormal shape and severe deformity, i.e. flat head syndrome, it may lead to restricted growth or misalignment of brain structures, which affects normal brain development and may lead to abnormal intellectual development. Common causes of flattening of the back of the head include multiple pregnancies, maternal primiparity, low amniotic fluid, occipital previa, breech position, genetic factors, and poor sleeping posture. For younger children, sleeping posture correction and helmet correction can usually be used to relieve the symptoms of flattening of the back of the head, and good individualized sleeping posture can prevent and improve the flattening of the back of the head. For older children, the correction can be achieved by wearing a custom helmet. If the child is old enough and the flat back of the head does not cause developmental problems, it usually does not affect intelligence and parents should not worry too much. There are many factors that affect intelligence. Intelligence is mainly influenced by genetic factors, environmental factors, dietary factors, early development, schooling, and social practices. Usually, parents with high IQ, balanced diet and nutrition, active family atmosphere, and good parental education can help the growth and development of the body and promote intellectual development. The intellectual development may be affected by factors such as picky eating or obesity, and intelligence is not influenced by a single factor, nor is it entirely formed by congenital, but also has a great relationship with the later efforts of their own.
