What are the post-operative considerations for the nose?

Keep the wound clean and try not to touch water at the wound area before the removal of the stitches, and only touch water 2 days after the removal of the stitches. The gauze stuffed in the nasal cavity will be taken out after 2 hours after surgery. Swelling of the skin around the nose within 3 days is normal and will gradually subside. Avoid colds and runny nose. Avoid external force around the nose for 1 month after surgery, and you should not wear frame glasses to prevent displacement of the prosthesis. Strictly follow the date written in the doctor’s prescription to remove the stitches, generally 6-7 days, no early removal. Avoid spicy and stimulating food and blood-boosting tonic such as ginseng. Take antibiotics for 3 days after surgery. Please follow the surgeon’s postoperative instructions for special attention.
