Treatment of cervical spine misalignment

Cervical subluxation refers to misalignment of the small joints of the cervical spine, that is, small changes in the direct bone-to-bone relationship of each vertebra of the cervical spine, which is written in some materials as dysfunction of the small joints of the cervical spine. Cervical subluxation is mainly related to factors such as trauma to the neck or long-term high pillow. The common symptoms are mainly foreign body sensation in the throat or symptoms of plant nerve dysfunction such as panic and chest tightness, etc. There can also be dizziness, headache and tinnitus, etc. The treatment of cervical spine subluxation is mainly based on manipulative treatment, which is usually operated by a doctor of rehabilitation or orthopedics. Different parts of the cervical spine are treated differently. For the misalignment of the first cervical vertebra, the head shaking method is generally used, that is, shaking the head in the supine position and doing traction and stretching appropriately. For the subluxation of the 2nd-4th cervical vertebrae, techniques such as head-down shaking are needed to reset. For the subluxation of the 5th-7th cervical vertebrae, the head shaking method should be adopted in the prone position. For the mixed cervical subluxation, traction can be used for treatment. In daily life, factors that can cause cervical subluxation should be avoided, such as not high pillows, avoiding trauma to the neck, and driving to avoid emergency braking as much as possible, so as not to cause whiplash-like injury to the cervical spine and cause cervical subluxation. Once a cervical subluxation occurs, it must be treated under the guidance of a professional doctor to avoid delaying the condition.
