The patient recovered successfully. Traditional coronary artery bypass surgery must be performed by opening the chest through the front median and splitting the sternum to reveal the heart, while robotic coronary artery bypass surgery does not need to open the chest, or only a very small opening in the side of the chest to complete the surgery, without destroying the sternum or ribs, the thorax is intact, so the trauma is slight, the pain is light, the bleeding is small, the recovery is fast, and the patient can resume normal life soon. It can be said that performing heart surgery with robots is a revolutionary advancement in the field of cardiac surgery and is the most outstanding embodiment of today’s minimally invasive surgical concept.
