How long does it take for food poisoning to set in?

The duration of the attack of food poisoning must be determined according to each person’s constitution, the absorption function of the food or the amount of toxic food consumed. If a large amount of toxic food is consumed at once, then usually within half an hour, there can be symptoms of food poisoning, such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, dizziness, headache and some other symptoms. If the amount of poisonous food taken is not very large and the person is physically strong, the attack usually takes a little longer, possibly two hours or even half a day, before some symptoms of food poisoning gradually appear.
