Non-pharmacological treatment of sleep disorders: i. Stimulus control therapy Helping patients to establish a fixed connection between rapid human sleep and the bedroom and bed, restoring the function of bed rest as an induced sleep signal, can be applied as an independent intervention. Details: (1) Go to bed only when there is sleepiness; (2) If you cannot fall asleep in bed for 20 min, get up and leave the bedroom and return to sleep when there is sleepiness; (3) Do not do non-sleep related activities in bed, such as eating, watching TV and thinking about complex problems; (4) Maintain a regular wake up time regardless of the length of sleep the night before; (5) Avoid napping during the daytime II.
