What are the effects of endometritis on pregnancy?

The endometrium is an inflammatory disease of the uterus, if left untreated for a long time, it will become chronic endometrium, which is very dangerous and has a certain impact on fertility. The mechanism of its impact on fertility is: 1. endometritis can cause endometrial congestion and edema, with a large amount of inflammatory exudate, which is not conducive to the upward movement of sperm and implantation and development of the pregnant egg; 2. inflammatory factors such as bacterial toxins and leukocyte phagocytosis can cause sperm death or reduced motility, thus greatly affecting fertility; 3. fertilized eggs are not easily implanted in the inflammatory endometrium, or the implantation is impaired due to anti-endometrial antibodies. The fertilized egg may not be able to implant in the inflamed endometrium, or the fertilized egg may be unstable, which may lead to miscarriage. With endometritis, the contrast agent may revert into the lymphatic and venous tissues surrounding the uterine wall during hysterosalpingography. Endometritis can affect fertility. With endometritis, even if you get pregnant, it may lead to miscarriage. Moreover, this inflammatory factor may transfer to other places. Therefore, when you have endometritis, you must be careful.
