Usage of topical medication for suppurative otitis media

  1. Pour the hydrogen peroxide solution into the affected ear with the ear facing upwards, and rub the back of the ear lightly with the fingers (to prevent the drug from entering the eyes), and see more bubble-like liquid. 2. Repeat the cleaning of the affected ear until there is no bubble-like liquid in the ear. 3. The affected ear is placed face down for half an hour, and the hydrogen peroxide solution is left to flow out completely. 4. With the affected ear facing upwards, apply 3 drops of ear drops to the affected ear (soak for 10 minutes). Repeat the above steps 3 times a day, each time cleaning the external ear canal with the hydrogen peroxide solution first, then using the ear drops.
