CT can detect tuberculosis, which is a chronic disease and is clinically classified into five types, namely primary tuberculosis, hematogenous tuberculosis, secondary tuberculosis, tuberculous pleurisy, and other extrapulmonary tuberculosis. CT can better show the manifestations of various types of tuberculosis in the lung, lymph nodes, pleura and other parts of the lung, which is better than X-ray examination. Common CT manifestations of pulmonary tuberculosis include cavities, nodules, caseous pneumonia, calcified nodules, and fibrous bands. Because of the diversity of manifestations, it needs to be differentiated from a variety of diseases, and the final diagnosis has to be combined with laboratory tests or pathological examinations.
