Runny nose is not necessarily due to novel pneumonia. The main clinical manifestations of novel coronavirus pneumonia are fever, malaise, dry cough, and in a few patients, nasal congestion, runny nose, and diarrhea. If there is a runny nose and there is a history of travel or residence in the Wuhan area 14 days before the onset of the disease, or if there is contact with patients with fever or respiratory symptoms from Wuhan or other transmission areas, it may be novel coronavirus pneumonia, and the patient needs to wear a mask and go immediately to the nearest designated hospital for consultation. Take the initiative to tell your doctor who you have been in contact with during your visit and cooperate with him/her in the investigation.
