The main treatment methods for rectal cancer include surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, among which surgery is the main cure for rectal cancer, and the main methods include conventional open manual surgery, laparoscopic manual surgery and machine manual surgery, etc.; 5. Perianal inflammation: It is caused by bacterial infection resulting in inflammation of the anal tissue and multiple nodules in the perianal skin, which may affect defecation and lead to very thin stools. Patients with perianal inflammation should apply a build-up of salt water to clean the perianal skin to reduce irritation and use some medications such as mupirocin ointment, erythromycin ointment, and febrifenpropionate cream to control inflammation and relieve discomfort; 6. Hemorrhoids: due to swelling of the veins at the anus and rectum, which causes patients to have difficulty defecating and very fine stools, etc. If symptoms appear, conservative treatment such as lidocaine, paracetamol and ibuprofen can be used to relieve pain, and in case of secondary infection, anti-infective drugs should be used.
