Postoperative functional exercise for patellar dislocation

  Patellar dislocation postoperative functional exercise (medial support band tightening + lateral release), postoperative relatively painful, only through pain, in order to obtain good function, must be insisted!!!  1, practice calf: the first day to 4 weeks after surgery, every day with maximum force hook foot, maximum force downward tense foot, 800 times a day. (Very important, prevent blood clots!!!)  2.Practice thighs: from the 1st day to 4 weeks after surgery, straighten your legs and lift them off the bed every day (insist on 5 seconds), then relax (2 seconds), 600 times a day.  3.Straighten the knee joint: 1 day to 4 weeks after surgery, put a pillow under the ankle joint, make sure the knee joint is as straight as the other leg.  4. Flexion of the knee: 1 week after surgery, practice to 60 degrees, 2 weeks after surgery, practice to 90 degrees; 4 weeks after surgery, practice to 120 degrees; 6 weeks after surgery, practice to normal angle. The angle should be gradually increased, up to three times a day. After each practice, put a plastic bag with ice water mixture and apply a cold compress to the knee joint for 20 minutes.  5. After 1 month, gradually start walking, and after 2 months, then slowly sports.
