Cavitary infarction headache generally refers to the headache that occurs after cavitary cerebral infarction, which belongs to a kind of vascular headache. If this happens, it is recommended to go to a specialized hospital as soon as possible for treatment of the disease.
Vascular headache is divided into primary vascular headache caused by diastolic dysfunction and secondary headache caused by cerebrovascular disease. Headaches caused by lacunar cerebral infarction are generally secondary headaches.
When headache after lacunar cerebral infarction occurs, patients should use antiplatelet aggregation drugs (such as aspirin) and lipid-lowering plaque-stabilizing drugs (such as atorvastatin) for disease control under the guidance of a physician. When the headache is severe, some analgesic drugs can also be used to relieve pain as prescribed by the doctor, such as ibuprofen tablets and diclofenac sodium enteric-coated tablets.
During the treatment period, patients should also go to the hospital for regular checkups and make timely adjustments to the treatment program.
