Tuberculosis fever is generally characterized by a fever that is more common in the afternoon, and classical tuberculosis fever is usually a hot flash in the afternoon. However, in clinical practice, some patients can develop high fever or irregular high fever, and some patients can develop fever in the morning. Therefore, fever in patients with tuberculosis is more common in the afternoon, but the fever pattern and duration of fever are more frequent and not typical. In addition to fever, the main symptoms of pulmonary tuberculosis are cough and sputum, including loss of appetite, weakness, wasting and other related symptoms. Tuberculosis can be left untreated if the fever is low to moderate, i.e., below 38.5°C. If the fever is high, symptomatic treatment related to fever reduction and other symptoms needs to be actively performed. Active anti-tuberculosis treatment to eliminate the source of fever is the only way to eliminate fever.
