The cost of a hip fracture, also known as a fracture of the neck of the bone or an intertrochanteric fracture, varies depending on the treatment of the fracture. If for a femoral neck fracture there is no significant displacement, it can be fixed with three nails, which usually costs $20,000. If the bone neck fracture is more serious, hip replacement may be needed. There are good materials for hip replacement, both medium and expensive, the cheap one is 20,000 dollars, the expensive one is 40,000 dollars, and the more expensive one is 70,000 dollars, each one is not quite the same.
