There are three ways to deal with brain tumors: surgery, radiation and chemotherapy!

Craniocerebral tumors can occur at any age, and the common ones include meningioma, pituitary tumor and pituitary adenoma. The incidence of cranial tumors has been on the rise in recent years, which seriously endangers human health and threatens life in serious cases. However, some brain tumors can be cured. After early detection and correct, scientific and effective treatment, patients can control and eliminate the tumors as soon as possible. With the gradual improvement of medical level, there are three main conventional treatments for cranial brain tumors as follows: 1.Surgical resection Surgery is one of the main methods to treat brain tumors, most benign tumors can be cured by surgery, and malignant tumors that are relatively small or limited can be completely removed. If necessary, surgery can also be used to reduce intracranial pressure to reduce pain. 2.Radiation therapy Radiation therapy is to use high energy rays to destroy tumor cells in order to stop the growth and reproduction of tumor cells, and adopt all-round rotational radiotherapy technology to make the tumor shrink or even disappear after being irradiated in multiple directions. Radiotherapy is mainly used for the post-surgical adjuvant treatment of most primary brain tumors, and also for the first treatment of some brain metastases, some benign primary tumors of small size and germ cell tumors. 3.Chemotherapy Chemotherapy is to kill tumor cells with powerful drugs, alone or in combination. For infiltrating glioblastoma and intracranial metastases that cannot be completely removed, chemotherapy can be supplemented to improve the efficacy of surgery and radiation therapy, prevent tumor recurrence and reduce headache. Chemotherapy can also be tried in recurrent benign intracranial tumors with headache. For tumors in deep parts of the brain that cannot be removed and tumors that are not sensitive to radiation, chemotherapy alone can be used. Warm tips: Surgical resection, radiotherapy and chemotherapy are common treatments for cranial tumors.
