Does alcohol kill AIDS?

HIV is very weak against the external environment and alcohol can kill it. HIV is not resistant to alcohol and can be inactivated rapidly. Other disinfectants are also generally able to inactivate, such as tincture of iodine, peracetic acid, sodium hypochlorite, glutaraldehyde, etc. In addition to these disinfectants, treatments such as heat are generally able to inactivate HIV relatively quickly, requiring about 20 minutes at 100°C to completely inactivate HIV. HIV is sensitive to the corresponding disinfection methods, but HIV is not sensitive to ultraviolet light or gamma radiation, and the application of such methods alone does not kill HIV, which is a point of difference with other pathogenic microorganisms. HIV is relatively weak to the external environment, and if body fluids from HIV patients enter the surrounding environment, they are usually inactivated quickly and are unlikely to be transmitted to others through indirect means.
