What about tendonitis?

If bony problems are ruled out, the most common cause of pain in the hand is tendonitis, especially on the radial side of the wrist and the ventral side of the thumb. What causes tenosynovitis: The tendon sheath is a synovial tube that sits outside the tendon and protects it. It wraps around the tendon in two layers, with a cavity between the two layers, the synovial cavity, containing the synovial fluid of the tendon sheath. The inner layer is closely attached to the tendon, and the outer layer is lined inside the tendon fiber sheath, which together with the bone surface, has the function of fixing, protecting and lubricating the tendon from friction or compression. If the tendon is rubbed excessively for a long period of time, inflammation of the tendon and tendon sheath can occur, causing swelling and leading to tendonitis. It is most common in women who carry children or do a lot of housework. What are the manifestations of tendovaginitis: The clinical manifestations are mainly localized pain, pain when the tendon is active, the surface is sometimes red and swollen, pressure pain, and in severe cases tendon sheath adhesions or stenosis can occur, then the dominant finger activity is limited, there is a popping sound, or manifested as “trigger finger”; there are also children with congenital stenosis of the tendon sheath, and the finger joints cannot move. There is no problem with general radiographs, and outpatient clinics sometimes require radiographs mainly to rule out bony disorders. The actual tendon sheaths are usually a lot more than a few of the most popular and popular ones. 5.In order to reduce the triggering, you can wear wrist and finger guards, or elastic bandages, or brace fixation. 6.Surgical treatment, mainly for a long duration of the disease, repeated treatment is not effective, or congenital tendon sheath stenosis. 7.Prevention is important. Maintain the correct posture at work to avoid excessive strain on the joints. When doing laundry, cooking, knitting sweaters, cleaning and other household chores, pay attention to the correct posture of the fingers and wrists, do not bend or stretch back excessively; do not carry objects that are too heavy; do not exert too much force on the fingers and wrists; do not work continuously for too long, rub the fingers and wrists after work, and then soak the hands in hot water; when washing clothes in winter, it is best to use 8, wrist joints to do a 360-degree rotation, or the palm of the hand to make a fist and then relax, back and forth a few times or the fingers back pressure or palm back pressure a few times, can effectively relieve hand pain.
