Will a broken nose recover on its own?

A fractured nose can usually recover on its own if the fracture is only minor. If the fracture is very severe and has affected the aesthetics, surgery is recommended. The nose is the highest part of the human face and is very susceptible to external impact. Moreover, the part of the nasal bone is thin, wide and not well supported by surrounding tissues, so it is very susceptible to fractures during normal sports, work injuries or other accidents. If the nasal fracture is not significantly displaced or is a fracture of a crack, it can recover on its own. If the nasal fracture is combined with nasal bleeding, nasal congestion, swelling of nasal mucosa, loss of vision, headache and loss of consciousness, it is recommended to seek prompt medical attention for relevant treatment. Patients with nasal fracture need to pay attention to rest, try not to wear glasses to avoid pressure on the fracture, breathe normally and keep the air fresh and moist. Eat a light diet with less spicy and stimulating food. Avoid stimulation by pressing and rubbing so as not to affect the later healing.
