Are ovarian cysts serious?

Ovarian cysts are usually serious, and if the cyst is twisted or ruptured it is an emergency abdomen and requires early surgery. There are three types of surgery, one is emergency surgery, one is subacute surgery and the other is elective surgery. Acute abdominal disease requires prompt surgical treatment. Subacute can be optionally delayed by 1-2 days and can be regulated before surgery. Elective surgery can be waited for some time to choose the best time for surgery. Ovarian cyst tip torsion is an emergency surgery and can be life-threatening in the event of ovarian cyst tip torsion. Larger ovarian cysts need to be diagnosed and operated as early as possible to avoid late cyst tip torsion. Only smaller cysts and physiological cysts can be observed and reviewed regularly.
