Be wary of being blindfolded syndrome in winter

There is no unified name for this disease, some people call it muffled fever syndrome, muffled cerebral hypoxia syndrome, and it is not included in pediatric textbooks yet, because most of the textbooks are written by big name experts in big cities, and it is difficult to see this disease in big cities. This disease is common in rural areas in northern Anhui, mostly in children under 3~4 months, because of the cold weather in winter, and this area does not belong to the heating area (it does not happen in the south, because it is hot there; it does not happen in the north, where it is cold, but there is heating), some parents wrap their children very tightly and sleep under the big quilt that the family sleeps under, which often causes high fever, dehydration, coma, respiratory failure, etc. This often results in high fever, dehydration, coma, respiratory failure, etc., with high mortality and sequelae rates. This is characterized by a healthy child before going to bed, but in the middle of the night or at dawn, parents find the child moaning, high fever or temperature does not rise, dehydration, shock, call should not be, convulsions, irregular breathing, breathing difficulties, etc. In serious cases, parents wake up to find the child has died. Therefore, to remind parents and friends, for families with small infants, such as the weather is too cold, you can apply heating equipment such as air conditioning, electric oil, etc. (heating with a stove must pay attention to prevent gas poisoning), never wrap too tight, too thick, not to mention the child sleep with his head covered.
