Erectile dysfunction (ED) is both an independent condition and may be a complication of certain diseases, usually defined as the inability of the penis to erect or maintain sufficient hardness for sexual intercourse for more than 3 months. This disease is a common and frequent disease in adult men. According to the survey, the incidence of erectile dysfunction in Europe and the United States and other developed countries is about 8%; the incidence in China is about 10%, and there is an increasing trend. In terms of treatment, although modern medicine has more obvious efficacy, Chinese medicine also has its advantages. Clinical data The 66 cases were all outpatients, randomly divided into 33 cases each in the treatment group and the control group. The age of the treatment group ranged from 20 to 75 years old, with an average of 37.8 years; the duration of the disease ranged from 6 months to 10 years, with an average of 2.7 years. In the control group, the age ranged from 20 to 68 years, with a mean of 36.2 years, and the duration of disease ranged from 6 months to 8 years, with a mean of 3.1 years. There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of age, duration of disease and severity of disease, which were comparable. The treatment method The treatment group took internal Yi kidney soup together with negative pressure suction. Discussion Penile erectile dysfunction is one of the common sexual dysfunctions in men. Normal penile erection involves a variety of factors such as neurological, endocrine, vascular, penile erectile tissue and sound psychological state, thus the etiology of erectile dysfunction is complex and its pathogenesis has not been fully elucidated so far. In terms of treatment, the introduction of phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors (Viagra, etc.) is considered a milestone in the history of erectile dysfunction treatment and has been widely used abroad for many types of erectile dysfunction. However, due to the high price of these drugs and the influence of cultural traditions and other factors, the use rate of our population is not high, and most patients are still keen on Chinese herbal medicine, physical therapy and other therapies. Erectile dysfunction belongs to the category of “Yin impotence”, “Yang impotence”, “Tendon impotence”, “Yin device not in use”, etc. in Chinese medicine. It is caused by excessive sexual intercourse, frequent masturbation and kidney deficiency, or thought and labor, unfulfilled wishes, panic and fear, injuring the heart, spleen and kidney. Treatment should be based on nourishing the kidneys and strengthening the yang, supplemented by tonifying the qi and resolving dampness. In this study, we found through clinical efficacy control that the internal use of kidney soup alone also has good clinical efficacy, with a total clinical efficiency of 69.70%, which is closely related to the effective pharmacological components contained in this formula, such as Epimedium contains phosphodiesterase inhibitors and has sex hormone-like effects; Wolfberry has the effect of improving libido and enhancing sexual function, etc., but the specific mechanism of action of this compound drug The specific mechanism of action of this compound drug is still unclear and needs to be studied in the future. If the internal use of kidney soup at the same time with negative pressure suction, the effect is more significant, the total efficiency is 87.88%. The possible mechanism is: Yi kidney soup can promote the erectile function of the penis through multiple pathways and play a systemic therapeutic role; while negative pressure suction is applied to the penis locally through special apparatus, together with pneumatic massage, which can not only promote the expansion of arterial blood vessels, increase the flow of blood to speed up penile erection, but also exercise the smooth muscle of penile corpus cavernosum and increase the thickness of white membrane, thus playing a local therapeutic role. In addition, negative pressure attraction can cause passive erection of the penis, accompanied by an increase in blood flow and an increase in the relative amount of drugs reaching the penis. Therefore, the organic combination of Yi kidney soup combined with negative pressure attraction can complement each other and show obvious therapeutic advantages, which is worthy of vigorous promotion and application.
