Myocardial infarction is induced by myocardial necrosis due to the blockage of blood vessels by coronary atheromatous plaque, resulting in persistent hypoxia and ischemia, and the necrotic myocardial cells cannot be recovered. The necrotic myocardium can form scar, which has no role in cardiac contraction, thus weakening myocardial contraction force, and easily develops into heart failure or even death, with a poor prognosis. Patients with myocardial infarction, generally need to go to the hospital as soon as possible to check, if necessary, cardiac stent to open the blood vessels, need to be regular lifelong anti-platelet aggregation, adjusting lipids to stabilize plaque and other medication, previous patients with old myocardial infarction need to be lifelong medication, because coronary stenosis is persistent. If the patient has a myocardial infarction, it is recommended to go to the cardiology department of the hospital in a timely manner, and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment, in order to prevent the progression to heart failure, or even cardiogenic shock and other serious consequences.
