Beware of skin diseases in spring

The Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Internal Medicine says: “spring in March, this is called hair Chen, heaven and earth are born, everything to glory; night sleep and get up early, wide walk in the court, was hair slow shape, in order to make Zhi Sheng; born and do not kill, give and do not take away, reward and do not punish, this spring gas should be, the way to maintain health. Against it will hurt the liver, summer for the cold change, to serve the long less.” This sentence tells the true meaning of the theory of Chinese medicine health care about spring health. In the eyes of dermatologists, spring is also the season of many things, whether they have suffered from skin diseases or not, should be careful to prevent the occurrence of the following kinds of skin diseases. 1, spring dermatitis Skin diseases also have seasonal changes. With the cold winter far away, the shadow of pruritus has not been all but forgotten, and the annoying spring dermatitis is coming again. Unlike pruritus, which is more common in the elderly, spring dermatitis affects a much wider range of people. As the temperature rises and the scenery changes, people are excited to go out and travel again. However, because the overall temperature in early spring is still low and the wind is blowing, people’s skin is relatively dry. As spring is a season of growth and development, human blood activity is also more than in winter, so it is easy to be attacked by foreign substances such as pollen and insect mites. If you happen to have allergies, you may develop spring dermatitis. Spring dermatitis is actually a generalization of a large group of diseases, mainly including dermatitis caused by allergies and irritations. The common manifestations of this type of dermatitis are itchy skin, rashes, and sometimes flaky skin. How can I put an end to this type of dermatitis? It is actually quite simple, you can use some simple moisturizing things to keep your skin, especially exposed skin such as the face, moist. A safer moisturizer is olive oil. The olive oil moisturizing method often recommended for patients in clinical practice is: you take one part of olive oil (for kitchen use), add nine parts of water, mix it well and carry it with you. It is not recommended to use ointments containing hormones to avoid hormone dependent dermatitis. 2, insect bite dermatitis and papular urticaria In this world, many things, especially living things, will follow the words of the “Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Internal Medicine” to maintain health. With the arrival of spring, the weather turns warmer and many insects start to recover or become active. Some insects such as fleas, bedbugs, mites and mosquitoes can easily attack your delicate skin. If you get bitten by these bugs, you will develop a very itchy pimple that will bleed and itch when you scratch it. This is caused by skin irritation that occurs after the insect bite. In the case of papular urticaria, along with constant scratching, it will recur and gradually worsen. Some people also develop an itchy rash or nodular itchy rash after a bug bite, which affects a person’s normal life. Some people have also been seen clinically to develop secondary infections from insect bite dermatitis, and some people can develop more serious consequences such as kidney damage. To avoid this, all you can do is to make sure you live in an environment with good air circulation, and also adequate ventilation and lighting. If you have pets at home, you should bathe them regularly, and if you have the conditions, you can go to the pet clinic regularly to disinfect them, and you should also wash and dry your clothes, sheets, pillows, quilts, stuffed toys, and clean the vacuum net of the air conditioner regularly. If you are accidentally bitten by insects, or replaced with insect bite dermatitis, then you should do diligent nail clipping, do not scratch their own skin, so as not to expand the scope of the disease. 3, urticaria In spring, you can see several cases of urticaria patients in the clinic every day. Urticaria is often triggered by mosquito and fly bites and sun allergies in spring. Urticaria includes two types: ① acute urticaria: skin lesions of varying sizes, occurring suddenly, fading rapidly, itching intensely, leaving no trace after healing; ② chronic urticaria: lesions, recurrent, lasting for more than 1 to 3 months. Urticaria is one of the most common skin diseases, often called “wind bumps” by the people. This disease is easy to diagnose, but that does not mean it is not serious. Some people with urticaria may suddenly experience symptoms such as suffocation and breathlessness, and some people may die as a result. The reason for this serious consequence is that the patient develops edema of the laryngeal mucosa, which in turn blocks the airway, making it difficult to breathe or the blood pressure drops, and symptoms such as shock occur. How to prevent the appearance of the above mentioned skin diseases? One very simple thing to do is to avoid contact with the things mentioned above, such as bugs, bright light, etc. If you can’t avoid going outside, protect yourself well. If skin discomfort occurs, do not take it for granted, it is best to seek medical advice before dealing with it.
