Deep vein thrombosis after knee arthroplasty

Patient: My mother had knee replacement surgery at another hospital and the surgery was successful. She had the reflux tube removed 3 days after the surgery, and the doctor told her to get out of bed the day after the tube was removed, so she could go to the bathroom and pee on her own, which felt good. 4 days later, she had an ultrasound and found a blood plug in her calf, redness and swelling at the incision, and a small amount of fluid inside. The doctor told him to stay in bed and to give him thrombolytic treatment. After 4 days of treatment, the ultrasound was taken again, but there was still blood congestion and no significant improvement. At night, the incision hurt and the newly replaced joint hurt, and the painkillers only worked for 2 hours. Every time I asked the doctor, he said, “Don’t rush, take your time. However, the treatment did not have any effect. I would like to ask the experts what happened, whether the surgery was unsuccessful, whether the surgery was not well taken care of, or whether it was my own fault. We are very afraid of this thrombosis, because it was already a leg problem, and now there is another thrombosis. We have not removed the stitches yet. Do we need to transfer to a specialist hospital for treatment?
