What causes gynecological cysts

Gynecological cysts, as the name implies, are cysts in the female reproductive system and are among the more common types of gynecological tumors. They include cervical cysts, ovarian cysts, ovarian chocolate cysts, teratomas and so on. The causes of gynecological cysts are many, such as endocrine disorders, endometriosis, inflammatory stimulation and other factors may cause them. Endocrine disorders are the most common cause of gynecological cysts, such as insufficient luteinizing secretion or excessive secretion of estrogen in the body, which can stimulate the ovaries and cause ovarian cysts, most of which are caused by the failure to expel the follicles from the body in time after maturation. Endometriosis is caused by the endometrium growing outside the uterine cavity, such as inside the ovaries, which can stimulate the ovaries to form cysts, called ovarian chocolate cysts. Some chronic inflammatory diseases such as pelvic inflammatory disease, chronic cervicitis and vaginitis can irritate the cervix or adnexa for a long time and cause cervical cysts and adnexal cysts. Most gynecological cysts are benign, but they should be taken seriously when they arise and treated promptly after identifying the cause, otherwise benign gynecological tumors can have the possibility of malignant transformation.
