Causes of yellow and sticky leucorrhea

The causes of yellowish and sticky leucorrhea are mainly infections of the reproductive system, with vaginitis and cervicitis being the most common. The yellowish and sticky leucorrhea in vaginitis is considered to be bacterial vaginitis and fungal vaginitis, which are mainly bacterial and fungal infections that increase the vaginal secretions produced by stimulating mucous membrane cells. The leucorrhea changes color and has an odor under the action of bacteria. Cervical inflammation is common with chronic cervicitis, mainly due to increased secretions from the cervical canal after infection, which stimulates the cervical cells to appear yellow and sticky leucorrhea. The most common treatment according to the results of leucorrhea examination is local treatment with antibacterial and anti-inflammatory suppositories, if necessary with systemic treatment.
