Some experiences with the use of biologics in patients with wind-like disease

1 , Compared with ankylosing spondylitis, patients with ankylosing spondylitis should be extra careful in the application of biological agents, because the general age of patients with ankylosing spondylitis is low, and youth is an advantage. In contrast, patients with ankylosing spondylitis, seen in different age groups, especially older patients over 60 years of age, must be careful in the application of biological agents. As age increases, the side effects of the drug will gradually increase. 2 , Patients over 60 years old applying biologics must be careful against all kinds of infections, especially tuberculosis. T-SPOT-TB should be done before the drug is administered, and the respiratory symptoms should be paid attention to at any time during the drug administration, and the lung CT and T-SPOT-TB should be rechecked promptly if coughing and other symptoms appear. 12 weeks after the drug is administered, the infection should be routinely investigated. 3, T-SPOT-TB may precede clinical symptoms, so it is recommended that patients over 60 years of age should be monitored in a 0,12 and 24-week manner in order to adjust the treatment plan in a timely manner. 4, There is a group of patients, thin, low weight, mostly elderly women, these patients should be very careful, because they are mostly very sensitive to drugs, easy to see the efficacy, but also very easy to appear drug side effects. For example, with methotrexate, they often use only 2~3 tablets and the effect is obvious, but of course, if they happen to be intolerant, they will have obvious side effects such as leukopenia with 2~3 tablets. These people have a heavy psychological burden, may have a tendency to depression, and are easily anxious about the side effects of drugs.
