Although the number of confirmed cases in provinces and regions outside Hubei has been decreasing continuously, the inflection point of the epidemic seems unpredictable at this point. Currently, the number of provinces where the number of cured cases of NCCP is greater than the number of new cases has increased significantly, and individual provinces (e.g., Tibet Autonomous Region and Qinghai Province) have been free of new cases for many days. This indicates that prevention and control measures such as joint prevention and control mechanisms and strict management are working everywhere. At the same time, there is no definite evidence on whether the virus is mutating and enhancing its infectiousness, and it has to be judged based on the outbreak. Therefore, we should not take any chances and relax our vigilance, but still do our best to protect ourselves and wait for the arrival of the inflection point.
