Chemotherapy is highly specialized, rapidly updated and finely classified, and the chemotherapy regimen may be different for different patients with the same disease, and the chemotherapy regimen may be different for the same patient at different stages. Therefore, chemotherapy must be administered in a specialized chemotherapy department (usually the oncology department of a tertiary care hospital). Patients are not recommended to have chemotherapy in non-oncology departments (e.g. surgical departments) (there are specialties in the field).
